We are so excited about this upcoming event honoring Irene and celebrating Greg LaVoi’s new fashion line inspired by Irene Lentz – Irene by Greg LaVoi! This is a fashion show, introducing these designs and hopefully the first of many more to come. I imagine my great-aunt Irene with a huge smile on her face, admiring the thoughtful respect, skill that has gone behind this undertaking. It will be so exciting to be a part of this event witness the honoring of Irene’s legacy after all these years. I wish my mother and grandmother could be part of this celebration, but that was not meant to be. I plan to celebrate for them however. In 2012, we saw the passing of mom. Karyn, my mother, and Irene’s niece  had a full life with lots of love around her, right up until the end, and she passed on peacefully when the time came. I was going through some of Irene’s newspaper clippings and thought it would be nice to share a few that pertained to my mom.
