Hi Karlyn, Just wanted to let you know that Ann Rutherford ("Gone With The Wind," "Andy Hardy," etc.) gave a presentation at the Kent State University Museum, and she was quite informative. I asked her about Irene, since
she was dressed by all the great studio designers of Hollywood's Golden Age and she was speechless and said:
"When you said Irene...her clothes...Irene was cherished by all." So that is exciting to know that Irene is still considered among the greatest Hollywood designers, and by those with whom she worked. I'm going to provide more about Irene in the future as I'm getting the book about her ready to send to the publisher for a review. Got the photos, some color, some black and white, and the text all done. More later, Best, Thomas
