About Irene
Irene is my grand-aunt, and admired for her work in women's fashion and Hollywood costume design. Her talent as a successful clothing designer in Los Angeles led to her long career as a costume designer for many great films in Hollywood.. until her sudden death in 1962. I hope you enjoy your visit.. ~ Karlyn

Hi Gidget! I’m glad you made your way over here and happy to hear that you like what you see. Thank you! The site is still fairly new, but growing quickly. There is much more to come. Like you, I love the classic Hollywood movies, from back in the day, around the time Irene was designing.. and I hope to share some info and photos soon that may interest you. I have a few snapshots I need to scan yet too, of Irene out-and-about with high profile celebs of the time.. fun, fun.
