New Design for Irene

Life hurls by and time continues to escape me.

You know what I mean. I’ve been busy,  and regretfully not posting as much as I would like to.

As summer ends and I return to the grind (work and school), I know it won’t be easy… but, I am hopeful that this year finds me posting more than ever.

April 2012 will mark three year’s since Irene Lentz was born again, as a domain name on the wide world web.

Three Years!

It was definitely time to focus on a fresh, new, yet classic look, for Irene. I found exactly what I wanted with elegantthemes.com. I admire Nick’s work at ET, all high quality, great detail, wordpress themes, and I’ve found a few over the past year that I’ve incorporated into several of my sites. I hope, that as Irene is watching on from her studio above, she’s happy with the design changes and edits I’ve made to her dot-com.

So, I’ve changed up the main menu, hoping that it’s a little cleaner, more appealing and enables easier navigation to the specific content you’re interested in here. I encourage feedback, so jump on in and add a comment below if you have the desire.

I’ve added more photos to the Irene Lentz Gallery and plan to scan and post more as time allows. A couple of the photos introduce Michael, her beautiful, and beloved pet. One of my favorites is the photo of a more mature Irene, busy at work, matching up colors and textures.. or at least that’s what I assume she’s doing. I really have no clue. You’ll see the photo though. It’s a favorite of mine. I also enjoy the more candid photos of Irene, sitting at the beach or smiling big for the photographer (probably husband Eliot Gibbons). I hope you check them out.

I also added a brand new page – Buyers and Collectors of Irene’s, where I hope to bring together those who are seeking Irene collectibles and those who are willing to part with their collectibles. Over the last couple of years, I’ve talked with several people who were interested in such a place, so we’ll see how it goes.
