I’ve always enjoyed watching the Academy Awards show each year. This February 27th, 2011 marks the 83rd annual Academy Awards, or “The Oscars” as they’re affectionately known. Irene was nominated for the Oscar twice for Best Costume Design. The first time was at the 21st Academy Award show in 1949. The category was Costume Design (Black and White), for the 1948 movie “B.
